E006 Gender Roles

For 20+yrs been working in hospitality and retail, to this day, I c women sneaking credit cards or money to their husbands so that the husband can pull it out and show everyone around that the man is paying for everything. I also see the situations where, men of all different cultures, believe, they need to be the sole or main money provider in order to have control of others and final say over spending, groceries bought ,to wat clothes the wife's buy. Sad thing to see

things come easier to a certain genders because they have been predisposed earlier in life. If the males in mechanical cl get the concept and seem to pick up on everything easier then the females, it's probably cause those males were already Introduced by ,most likely , another male , maybe father having there son help fix a lawn mower, or a friend having help with the car. So there for it will come easier as they have already been exposed to tools, mechanical terms, basic concepts.

Gratitude

Great conversation, I happy that we are in a time of moving away from the traditional gender roles. Part of the move was definitely out of the necessity of the two income households these days but also because our society is more fluid than in past generation because we have no choice but to be. The new generation isn't taking no for an answer - it's this is what we're about and your gonna deal with it. I'm raising my child to not be confined to a gender box. They can do anything!
